What is Firm Knowledge?

Settings → Firm Knowledge is a library of your firm's own reference material that the AI uses to ground its answers — investment philosophy, process documents, terminology, compliance guidance.

To add a document: Upload a document — drag and drop a file here, or browse. Give it a Title and a Kind (Investment Strategy, Philosophy, Process, Compliance, Terminology, Tax Code, Firm Operating Knowledge, Estate Planning, General).

Each document shows a Status — Processing, Ready, Reindexing or Failed — and the number of Chunks indexed.

To update one, use Replace with new version / Upload new version — New version is indexing; the current version remains active. Use Archive document to retire it, or Remove to delete it entirely (Document removed from the VA's knowledge).

Role note: only Firm Principals upload Firm Knowledge. Everyone else has Read-only access and sees Your firm principal hasn't uploaded any documents yet until something is added.
