How long are recordings and transcripts kept?

Set by Retention mode at Settings → Notetaker:

  • No retention (ephemeral)
  • Standard — kept for the Retention window you set
  • Compliance (WORM) — write-once storage that cannot be altered or deleted early, with presets for SEC 17a-4 and Rule 204-2

Choose your Regulatory regime (Broker-Dealer or investment adviser) so the right preset applies.

Important: under Compliance (WORM) retention, recordings cannot be deleted before the retention window expires. That is the point of the control.
