How does the Notetaker capture a meeting?

There are four ways:

  • *Meeting bot — The OmegaFP Notetaker* joins your Zoom, Google Meet or Teams call as a participant
  • *OmegaFP Capture* — The desktop app records audio directly, with no bot in the meeting
  • *Chrome extension* — Captures a meeting running in your browser
  • *Upload* — Upload a recording or paste a transcript after the fact

Set your preference at Settings → Notetaker under Preferred capture source — Auto (recommended), Desktop only, Desktop when online, fall through otherwise, or Never use the desktop app for capture.
