How do I handle a divorce or a household split?

There is no automatic split. The reliable approach:

1. Create a new household for the departing spouse.
2. Add them as the primary person on the new record.
3. Move or copy the documents, tasks and notes that belong to them.
4. Remove them from the original household's People card.
5. Update Status, Stage and the assigned advisor on both records.

Do this deliberately — history stays attached to the record it was created on.
