How do I get a texting number in Omega?

Settings → SMS / Texting:

  1. Turn on Enable SMS — Allow advisors to send and receive text messages.
  2. Click Request a Number and optionally give a Preferred area code (for example 212, 415, 312).
  3. The number status moves through Not provisioned → Provisioning (7–14 business days) → Active.

Carrier registration is what takes the time — it is a regulated process, not an Omega queue. A number can also be shown as Suspended or Released.
